Workshops are structured to support basic skills and advance individual techniques in both settings and composition. Our experienced guides put you in the New Mexico and Southern Colorado locations where you can explore your vision and get the images you won’t find on your own.
Workshops typically run from 8:30AM to 5:30PM, and include healthy snacks, water, and historical information on the Rio Grande valley and surrounding mountains. Participants are expected to bring their own lunches and to dress appropriately for the weather. Weather changes rapidly in northern New Mexico, be prepared.
July 10, 2019 - Cruces Basin Wilderness – This on foot, hiking workshop is reserved for the most adventurous! Wildlife, streams, hidden secrets of New Mexico animals and flowers. This high basin is the headwaters of New Mexico several rivers. It is a lush environment filled with every beast waiting to pose for you and your camera. Physical fitness and proper clothing a must!
July 24, 2019 – The Valley of Life! Valle Vidal Exploration – A loop through the reserve focusing on the places and wildlife that the typical routes won’t reach.
August 7, 2019 – Abiquiu and the Chama River Valley – O’Keefe country, where O’Keeffe would venture. Slot canyons and landscape treasures await on this journey into the New Mexico’s hidden paradise. This workshop focuses on panoramic landscapes and getting your images to the next level.
August 21, 2019 - The San Luis Valley, Colorado – Picturesque crumbing adobes with the backdrop of 14,000-foot snow covered peaks, wild horses, and ancient migration routes paired with raptors and epic landscapes. This one-day photography workshop is a journey for everyone with a passion for high plains landscapes and wildlife!
September 25, 2019 – Colors of the Enchanted Circle – Join us for this all-day fall photography workshop along the Enchanted Circle of northern New Mexico. Leaving from Taos we will loop through the wildest reaches of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains seeking out the best of the crisp yellow fall aspens and bright orange oaks.

Phil Alldritt, 21 year veteran of Cuban guiding/cultural anthropologist and Gak Stonn, professional photographer/photography workshop leader will lead a 10 day cultural enrichment adventure and photographic workshop through the heart of the Cuban backdrop to Havana Vieja, Cienfuegos, and Trinidad. This journey will highlight the local scenery and Cuban culture as well as developing your skills as a photographer, whether with cell phones, point and shoots, or professional cameras, in environments few tourists get to see. All skill sets welcome and encouraged.
We will stay in acc
redited B and B’s, dine with/what the locals eat, and tour across the off-the-beaten-path countryside. Come and experience the Cuban traditions intimately. Other tour can cost $1000s more and give you much less. If you want to get out of the customary tourist sections with experienced guides and dig deep into the lifestyle of Cubans, all the while enhancing your photography skills…this is a must!
The emphasis of this adventure is epic scenery, wildlife adventures, cultural insights and getting great images.
